Important Safety, Care & Maintenance Information

Your TEVO Heater is a high-temperature infrared appliance. Regular cleaning and inspection help maintain safe operation and extend the life of the heater.
 
Keep the Heater Clean
Dust, dirt, grease, insects and other debris can build up around the grille and heating element.
 
Do not use the heater if there is a build-up of dust, dirt, grease or other contamination on or around the heating element.
Switch the heater off, unplug it and allow it to cool before cleaning. If contamination cannot be safely removed, contact Customer Care.
 
Do Not Touch the Heating Element
Do not touch the heating element or infrared lamp with bare fingers. Oils and residue from your skin may affect the life of the lamp.
If the lamp is accidentally touched, follow the cleaning instructions in your User Manual.
 
Coastal & Salt-Air Areas
If your heater is used near the sea or exposed to salt air or sea spray, inspect and clean it more frequently.
Remove visible salt deposits, dirt and other contamination promptly, and regularly check the grille, housing and heating area for corrosion or deterioration.
 
Before Using After Storage
Before using the heater after a long period of storage, check for:
  • dust, insects or debris
  • salt deposits or corrosion
  • damage to the grille or housing
  • a cracked, broken or damaged heating element
  • damaged cords or plugs
 
Do not use the heater if the heating element is cracked, broken or visibly damaged.
